Meet Sakima

Sakima is a licensed and certified educator credentialed by the states of New York and Maryland with more than 15 years of experience. Reverend Romero-Chandler continues to enhance education through her consulting company Romero Conway Howard Consulting Group LLC and as a Wellness Advocate for DoTerra.

Sakima conducts Key Stakeholder and Key Informant Interviews, conduct surveys and host focus groups in communities with high Domestic Violence rates of Black women. Oversee Howard University support staff in developmental areas, direct them on projects, develop systems for planning, performance, documentation, forecasting and evaluation. She contributed to planning, preparation and site selection and webinars of OVW sponsored Domestic Violence Firearms Project. Successfully manage projects through strong organization, detailed work plans, and balancing of outcomes to government and oversight agencies.

Her volunteer work is extensive and she has served on the boards of: Brook Lane Health Services, Young Life/Young Lives and multiple service organizations. Reverend Sakima Romero-Chandler is an Itinerant Elder in the AME Church. She is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated. Most importantly she is a daughter of God and she desires that she be an instrument of change that God will continue to use.
